Affirming | Relational | Collaborative
I believe that effective therapy begins with safe, trusting relationships and relies upon collaboration with the client, family, school/work team, community partners, and other professionals. Each client has a unique constellation of strengths and vulnerabilities informed by their neurotype, their community involvement, and their social relationships. I specialize in therapy for infants through young adults, and welcome clients to come exactly as they are.
As a neurodivergent therapist practicing within a neurodivergent-affirming framework, I honor each client's sensory processing needs, social goals, communication comforts and preferences, and co-/self-regulation abilities at any given time. My approach to therapy celebrates the diversity of neurotypes in our world and honors the intersectionality each client experiences across their many identities.
Parent / caregiver / partner education and support is a cornerstone to successful therapy, and our relational therapy plan will involve regular consultation time with the members of a client's support network. Sessions can take place at a client's home, school site, a community location, or virtually, and may support the following within an affirming framework:

At this time, I do not take insurance, though I can provide clients/families with itemized statements (superbills) that can be submitted to their insurance companies for potential reimbursement.
