Toddler & Preschool Parent Groups Parenting During a Pandemic
Surviving toddlerhood and the preschool years in the midst of a pandemic brings unique challenges to the world of parenting. Join other toddler or preschool parents during these virtual parent group series to build community, share successes/struggles, and learn valuable, brain-based tools to help you and your child thrive (both in and out of a pandemic). Guided by the best-selling book, The Whole-Brain Child, we'll explore weekly strategies that support your toddler's or preschooler's emotional-regulation, social communication, language and resiliency. We'll dive into the brain science behind why connection works to calm tantrums, how to set boundaries, and how to balance big emotions and your child's newfound desire for independence. Each session will incorporate the following:
Connection Time: Share successes and struggles in the journey of parenting a toddler or a preschooler. You'll have time to share what's going well and what's currently challenging while getting advice from Hanna and other parents in the group.
Weekly Learning Topic: See topics below (these can be adjusted based on the specific needs and interests of the group).
Questions and Debrief: You'll have a chance to ask specific questions related to our weekly theme and wrap up with some final connection before we say goodbye.
